Former minister Majadle back in Knesset

Former Science, Culture and Sport Minister Raleb Majadle will enter the Knesset Sunday when MK Binyamin Ben-Eliezer's resignation becomes official.
Ben-Eliezer quit the Knesset Thursday morning, citing health reasons. His resignation takes effect 48 hours after it was submitted, but hours are not counted on Shabbat so it will take effect Sunday morning.
The next name on the Labor list was Ma'ale Gilboa mayor Danny Atar but he declined to enter the Knesset at a time when he said he could not have an impact. This will be the fourth time in the Knesset for Majadle, who was next on the list after Atar. He became the first ever Arab minister in Israel in 2007.
