IDF imposes partial siege on West Bank village to where highway gunman apparently fled

The IDF on Saturday night imposed a partial siege on the Palestinian village of Beit Ur al-Tahta in the West Bank, where the suspected gunman in a shooting attack on a military checkpoint on Friday was believed to have fled to following the incident.
The IDF was only permitting residents to enter and exit the central West Bank village for humanitarian purposes, a military spokesperson said.
Two IDF soldiers were wounded in the shooting by a Palestinian gunman on Route 443 near Bet Horon in the West Bank's Binyamin region.
