IDF searches Golan after smoke seen near Syria border

The IDF was conducting searches in the Golan Heights on Wednesday after smoke was seen in the area of a town near the border with Syria.
No injuries or damage were reported. Military sources said the IDF was checking the possibility that a stray mortar shell from Syria was responsible for the smoke.
Syrian government forces and armed rebels were fighting on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, not far from the border.
