Iranian official: Account with Israel still open

Chairman for the Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran Alaedin Boroujerdi stated in an interview with Al Manar on Monday that the account with Israel is not closed and Iran has the "right to respond to the Zionist aggression."
Boroujerdi's comments come in the wake of the deaths of six Hezbollah fighters and an Iranian general killed by an alleged Israeli air strike in Syria on Jan. 18. The Iranian-backed Hezbollah retaliated on last Wednesday with a rocket attack that killed two Israeli soldiers on the frontier with Lebanon.
