Israel Air Force Commander Maj.-Gen. Amikam Norkin has decided to restart drills on F-15 Ra'am jets from Tuesday morning, after a malfunction that occurred during the 69th “Hammers” squadron training at a Negev base forced pilots to make an emergency landing earlier in December.
Last week, Norkin also announced that the IAF is restarting drills on F-15 Baz jets after a preliminary report of the incident showed that the malfunction only affects the Ra'am jets' engine.
