The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office on Thursday filed an indictment against Yitzhak Bar-Mooha, who heads a Jerusalem crime gang, and two of his alleged henchmen of charges that they planned to plant a bomb underneath a car.
Although the indictment did not specify, it is believed that Bar-Mooha, who is currently serving a prison sentence, was planning an attack against members of the Aberjil family, another crime organization, whose leaders are in jail awaiting extradition to the US.
Ya'acov Levy, a Bar-Mooha gang member was caught by police at the Atarot checkpoint in north Jerusalem on the night of July 18 with the bomb hidden in his motorcycle.
Two Israeli Arabs, who sold the bomb to Bar-Mooha, were also indicted.
