Jerusalem Municipality opens bomb shelters across city

The Jerusalem Municipality announced Tuesday evening that it will open public bomb shelters across the capital. A list of all the shelters can be found on the municipality website www.jerusalem.muni.il. In the statement, the municipality also recommended that residents open their private shelters.

“In the case of a siren or explosion, residents should go to the closest protected area within 90 seconds and close all doors and windows and stay indoors for ten minutes,” the statement read. “All residents are asked to continue to listen to instructions from the Home Front Command. As of now, all municipal events will take place as scheduled.”
