Jerusalem-Tel Aviv bus to run into the night

The main public bus between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv will run starting Wednesday into the wee hours of the night for the duration of the summer. The 480 Egged bus line will operate between both cities until 3:30 a.m. every night of the week except Friday night when there is no national bus transportation due to Shabbat. The route, which previously ended at around 12:30 a.m., will operate hourly after that until 3:30 a.m. in order to accommodate late-night party-goers. As in previous years, selected local lines will also operate in the late-night hours over the summer.
