Journalists expected to protest decision to indict Blau

The Jerusalem Journalist's Association on Sunday was expected to demonstrate outside Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein's office to voice its opposition to his decision to indict Haaretz reporter Uri Blau, Army Radio reported.
Weinstein announced Wednesday that he would charge Blau with possession of classified military documents which he received from former OC Central Command secretary Anat Kamm. The decision follows a 2008 story in which Blau, using leaked documents, revealed that the military planned in advance to assassinate Palestinian political leaders and fighters, but then passed their deaths off as mishaps during ”failed” attempts to arrest them.
The protest's slogan will be "we are all Uri Blau."
The Association said that Weinstein's decision was like a declaration of "war on freedom of the press and on democracy."
