Kadima primary: 59% of Arab sector votes

Around 59 percent of eligible Arab sector voters cast their ballots in the Kadima primary on Tuesday, Channel 1 news reported.
While, Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chair Shaul Mofaz - who is running against opposition leader Tzipi Livni - is thought to be stronger among Arabs and Druse, it was still to early to know how the Arab vote was affecting the overall results, according to the report.At least 33% of the 95,000 eligible voters had voted by 8:00 p.m., with four hours left until polls closed at 10:00 p.m.
