Kadima primary: 59% of Arab sector votes

Around 59 percent of eligible Arab sector voters cast their ballots in the Kadima primary on Tuesday, Channel 1 news reported.
While, Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chair Shaul Mofaz - who is running against opposition leader Tzipi Livni - is thought to be stronger among Arabs and Druse, it was still to early to know how the Arab vote was affecting the overall results, according to the report.
At least 33% of the 95,000 eligible voters had voted by 8:00 p.m., with four hours left until polls closed at 10:00 p.m.
