Kinneret reaps benefits of ongoing storm

The Sea of Galilee, widely known as Lake Kinneret, rose by 1 centimeter in the past 24 hours, Water Authority officials said, as rain was set to continue falling in the North, Center and South on Friday.
Israel’s biggest reservoir, has risen by about 8 centimeters (3 inches) since the start of the storm on Saturday, but melting snow should eventually give a further boost to the depleted lake.
