Kiryat Malachi gets 10 smart classrooms

The education organization World ORT, in partnership with the Yocheved & A.S. Cohen Fund has announced a NIS 800,000, 10-smart-classroom-initiative for the Amal multidisciplinary school in Kiryat Malachi. The classrooms are equipped with advanced technological equipment and students’ personal computers will all be connected to the teacher’s desk. There are over 750 smart classrooms across the country.
“One of the goals of our organization is to integrate advanced technology in order to serve pedagogy and allow students and teachers to connect to the skills of the 21st century,” said Avi Ganon, executive director of Kadima Mada, World ORT’s Israel branch in a statement on Monday.
