Labor's Ben-Simon: We should reconsider our place in gov't over outposts
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Labor faction chair MK Daniel Ben-Simon on Tuesday called on his party to seriously consider its place in the coalition if the evacuation of 24 West Bank outposts constructed after March 2001 is not accelerated.
He called the outposts a "disgrace" that have to be removed immediately.
"If the government doesn't abide by its commitment on this issue, we should leave," He said during a Peace Now tour of outposts in the Samaria and Binyamin regions.
The cabinet has authorized the removal of the 24 outposts, but to date no action has been taken.
