Lapid: Treasury collects more in taxes than originally anticipated

Finance Minister Yair Lapid told Israel Radio on Tuesday that Israeli tax authorities managed to collect more tax money than originally forecast.
According to Israel Radio, the treasury brought in a sum total of NIS 4.3 billion in tax revenue. Check Point Software, the successful hi-tech firm, paid NIS 500 million in taxes, according to Lapid.
When asked about Iran, Lapid said that the sanction against the Islamic Republic ought to remain in place, and that the dispute between Israel and Washington over a possible agreement with Iran was "an argument between friends."
