Liberman: New elections are a last resort

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said Tuesday that new elections were the "last resort," amid tensions in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition.
"We need to look at what is really happening in the country outside of the coalition tensions. It is clear that the last thing we need right now is elections," Liberman told Army Radio.
"Elections will effectively shut down the entire governmental system for six months," he said.
