Likud MKs focus on PM’s UN speech

The Likud’s right flank will hold a last-minute meeting Sunday evening to discuss the possible outcomes of peace talks as well as preparations for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s speech to the UN General Assembly and his meeting with US President Barack Obama.
The meeting will take place at the Samaria Regional Council. It was called by Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon.
Danon, chairman of the Likud central committee, met with Netanyahu on Wednesday to discuss the prime minister’s upcoming trip to the US.
Danon said he also planned to bring up the speech Obama delivered last week at the UN, saying he found “disturbing” the parallels the US president made between Israel’s growth and Iran.
