Livni: Ankara must decide which side it is on

Ankara needs to choose which side it is on, opposition leader Tzipi Livni said in an interview with Turkish newspaper Haberturk.
According to Livni, the region is divided into two camps. The pragmatic camp includes Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Egypt, Jordan and the Gulf States, while the other, extreme camp includes Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah and support in this camp does not serve the interest of advancing peace. Iran is trying to destabilize the region and there is no reason Turkey should be a part of this."
Speaking on the Gaza flotilla incident, Livni said Israeli soldiers acted in self-defense. She added, "I hope that relations between Israel and Turkey will return to what they used to be before."
