Man, 62, dies in Nahariya Hospital from Swine Flu

A 35-year-old man who was hospitalized two weeks ago with complications from the H1N1 flu virus, or swine flu, at Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem died on Tuesday at the Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus. He had been transferred there to be attached to a special respiratory device, although the treatment failed.
The Health Ministry continues to urge the public, especially those at high risk, to get vaccinated. So far, only 15 percent of the general population and 56% of the highrisk population have gotten their free shots.
