A man in his early fifties was shot to death in Beit Dagan, in central Israel, overnight Thursday. A Magen David Adom team evacuated the man in critical condition from Beit Dagan's Rambam Street to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Tzrifin, but the doctors there couldn't save his life, and pronounced him dead. Police said they were familiar with the man and believed the murder to be of a criminal nature. However, they said the circumstances of the incident were unclear. No suspects have been arrested.
