Man suffers serious injuries, woman moderately hurt, after traffic collision in Lachish

A man suffered severe injuries and a woman suffered light injuries after their vehicles collided in the Lachish district, near Yad Mordechai.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and administered emergency medical services to the injured motorists. The woman, 23, was in full consciousness after her vehicle flipped over on its hood. She was evacuated to Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon.

The man, 60, who was the subject of resuscitation attempts as he was also evacuated to Barzilai hospital. Upon arriving to the hospital his status was considered in moderate to serious condition.
