Ministry warns against Israeli, Canadian pregnancy tests

The Health Ministry said Monday that pregnancy test kits made in Canada by IND Diagnostic or Israeli kits made by Zer Hi-tech, should not used. The Canadian Health Ministry issued warnings against IND Diagnostic after learning of problems in the manufacturer’s quality control.

The Israeli firm’s pregnancy kits, said the ministry, lack updated approval on its list of medical-related products. Those who have already used such tests should consult their doctors. The packages are being removed from pharmacy shelves.
