MK retires from Yisrael Beitenu in protest of entering government without pushing social reform

MK Orly Levy-Abercassis, who was until today second on the Yisrael Beitenu list, resigned from the party Thursday in protest of the decision of Avigdor Liberman to enter the government.
Levy-Abercassis stated that Liberman entered into the coalition without pursuing guarantees to further social goals.
The former model and television presenter will remain an MK. She announced the decision on Facebook: "I will endeavor to work as a Knesset member, in accordance with my conscience and entirely for the public good."
The party are reportedly attempting to prevent Levy-Abercassis's retirement, which came as a surprise to Liberman.
