Moallem: Syria can play a role in finding solution to Iran nuke dispute

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem said on Friday that he believes his country can play a role in finding a political solution to nuclear and other disputes between Iran and the West. "We support (a) political solution for issues standing between Iran and the West," Reuters quoted Moallem as telling a London news conference with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband. "For that, we believe we can play a role but we cannot take decisions on behalf of Iran. They have to take their decisions according to their interest," Moualem reportedly said.
