Municipality offers Old City shuttle service

In an effort to curb traffic in the Old City, the Jerusalem Municipality on Monday announced a new shuttle system where visitors can park their cars at the capital’s old train station and be driven to and from the Kotel.
According to the municipality, at a flat rate of NIS 17, between the hours of 7-8 a.m., shuttles will depart to and from the Old City every 20 minutes.
On Friday’s the shuttle service will conclude one hour before Shabbat. The municipality added that residents of Jerusalem will receive a 20 percent discount.
