Natan Sharansky elected head of Jewish Agency

Natan Sharansky was elected to Chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel at the organization's Board of Governor's Closing Plenary on Thursday. The former minister, world-famous prisoner of Zion and human rights activist, who was nominated for the post by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, will serve a term of four years.
