Netanyahu, Lapid meet on Bank of Israel Governor

Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid  met on Wednesday night to decide on the appointment of the next Governor of the Bank of Israel.
According to Israel Radio, the two met privately to decide between Professor Tzvi Eckstein, former bank governor of Argentina and senior advisor to the Bank of England, Professor Mario Blecher, and the director general of Bank Mizrahi and former Finance Ministry director, Victor Medina.
Lapid and Netanyahu are expected to announce their decision by Sunday.
