200,000 southern Israeli children stay home from school amid rocket fire

More than 200,000 children are home from school on Sunday, as classes were canceled in Southern Israel.

More than 200,000 children are home from school on Sunday, as classes were canceled in Southern Israel.
A kindergarten in Sderot was hit by a rocket on Saturday night.

Since around 10 a.m. on Saturday, more than 450 rockets have been fired into Israel from Gaza.
Studies were cancelled in schools along the Gaza border, in the central Negev, the Shfela and Lachish by demand of the Home Front Command.
