Over 600 migrants agree to voluntarily return home

Over 600 illegal migrants have agreed to leave for their countries voluntary, with over 500 of them hailing from South Sudan, the Population, Immigration, and Borders Authority said Tuesday.
The number stood at around 300 late last week, and PIBA said Tuesday due to the heightened interest in voluntary agreement, which comes with a cash stipend and the negation of arrest until departure, they have opened stations in Eilat and Arad where migrants can sign up for voluntary repatriation.
A spokesman for PIBA said that on Monday an additional 40 migrants were arrested across Israel. The migrants hailed from Africa, Asia, and other areas of the world.
