Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas sent his condolences to the family of the Jordanian terrorist who tried to stab policemen at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem on Friday , according to Israel Radio.
The Jordanian citizen was shot and killed while carrying out the attack.
Abbas sent the terrorist's family a letter saying he grieves with the family and labelled the assailant a "Shahid." [Martyr]
