Police: Man stabbed to death during argument in south TA

Tel Aviv police on Saturday arrested a man suspected of stabbing a fellow Eritrean migrant to death during an argument in south Tel Aviv.
According to police, around 11am, the two men exchanged words on the Neve Shaanan pedestrian walkway when one of the men pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the other man in the stomach several times, before fleeing the scene.
The victim was picked up by a Magen David Adom ambulance and rushed to a hospital in serious condition, but died of his wounds shortly thereafter. Within hours police announced that they had arrested the suspect, who confessed to his role in the stabbing.
Police will bring the man to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court where they will seek an extension of his remand.
