Rabbis for Human Rights condemn violence against WoW

Israeli NGO Rabbis for Human Rights on Monday harshly condemned the incitement directed at the Women of the Wall (WoW) earlier in the day.

In a press release, the Rabbis stated that the graffiti found on leading member Peggy Sidor’s entrance-way "goes against the human values upon which Jewish tradition is based, and according to which we raise our sons and daughters."

"Anyone who thinks it possible to exhibit restraint when “Price Tag” actions are inflicted on non-Jews has not understood that the next step is the “Torah Tag,” they stated.

The NGO called on leaders to stop their incitement "before it is too late," and called on the police to act with determination to bring the perpetrators to justice.
