United Nations workers in the Gaza Strip went on strike Tuesday to protest the dismissal of union chief Suheil al-Hindi earlier in the month for political activities, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.
The UNWRA workers union threatened to carry the labor protests into the coming week.
