Egypt's state prosecutor extended the detention of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak on Friday for an additional 15 days while he is being investigated for his deadly crackdown of anti-government protests and suspicions of corruption, the MENA news agency reported."The state prosecutor Abdel Maguid Mahmud decided to renew the detention of ex-president Hosni Mubarak for 15 days for questioning... effective when his last detention period expires," MENA reported.Mubarak is under arrested while he is in a Sharm el-Sheikh hospital.According to the report, prosecutors traveled to the southern Sinai resort town to question the former Egyptian president.
