Report: Sydney police arrest man for sexual abuse at yeshiva in Bondi

Police in Sydney, Australia have charged a 49-year-old man with sexual abuse of children at the Yeshiva Center in Bondi Beach during the 1980s, the Sydney Morning Herald reported Tuesday.
The newspaper names the man as Daniel Hayman, saying that he has been living in Los Angeles for the past few years, where, the paper claims, Jewish community leaders “acted to shield him”.
The suspect was arrested on Monday afternoon at a Sydney park, and charged with abusing teenage boys aged 14 and 16 in 1985 and 1986, the paper said. Local police are reportedly asking for anyone with information about his alleged crimes to contact them.
