Rivlin: The voting public will decide on the 2013 budget

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin said on Monday that it is up to the voting public to decide on the 2013 state budget by voting in the elections.
Speaking at the opening of the 18th Knesset@@@s winter session, Rivlin said that "this Knesset is going to elections because it could not decide on cardinal issues."
Rivlin called on the Israeli public to vote, saying that "in this situation, in which the government has no partners to pass the budget, the Israeli public is the one that is required to determine on these fundamental questions."
According to Rivlin, the upcoming elections are necessary and imperative as not only diplomatic and security issues are on the line, but also socioeconomic issues.
