Russian plane with 48 people on board crashes

MOSCOW - A Russian Tupolev-134 plane with 48 people on board broke up and caught fire on landing in northern Russia, Emergency Ministry spokeswoman Irina Andriyanova said by telephone on Tuesday.
At least 10 people were injured. The fate of the other passengers and crew was unclear, she said.
The plane was traveling from Moscow to the northern Russian city of Petrozavodsk. It crashed just before midnight.
