Safed: 50 people arrive at hospital to be checked for rabies

Roughly 50 people arrived at a hospital in Safed throughout the day on Thursday, all fearing that they had contracted rabies. According to reports, the Safed municipality had issued a warning in the morning to residents of the city to watch out for two rabid dogs that were wandering around the area. All of those admitted to the hospital said that they were concerned they had been in contact with the dogs. The patients were to undergo check-ups before being vaccinated for the disease.
