The Shin Bet considered shutting down the airport at the southern resort city Eilat several times in the past over rocket threats, Channel 2 reported on Thursday.According to Channel 2, the Shin Bet was considering closing the airport for short periods of time fearing terrorists in Sinai would target incoming and outgoing airplanes.
