State charges man with negligent homicide of child who falls out of car to her death

The Central District Attorney’s Office on Sunday filed an indictment with the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court against Roman Badalviv for the negligent homicide of a two-and-a-half year old girl who fell out of a car he was driving to her death on December 5, 2014.

The indictment stated that Badalviv was in a relationship with A.A., the mother of the deceased child, B.B., and was driving B.B. in the car in a negligent manner - with no seat belt, with her moving around the car and with the door nearest to B.B. unlocked.

B.B. allegedly opened the unlocked car door, fell out of the moving car causing serious injuries and was then run over by another car, leading to her death.

After A.A. took B.B. to the hospital, Badalviv also tried to obstruct justice by omitting in his report to police that he had been the driver and left the door unlocked and B.B. unbelted.
