Steinitz at Jpost conference: World security can't rely on hypothesis that Iran will become Holland

National Infrastructure Minister Yuval Steinitz said at the Jerusalem Post Annual Conference Sunday that Israel sees the emerging nuclear deal between world powers and Iran as having "too many loopholes."

"We see the merging agreement as bad for Israel and dangerous for the world," Steinitz said.

Steinitz hinted about a potential Israeli strike against Iran's nuclear facilities saying, "I never elaborate about the military option but I can only say that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear he won't allow nuclear weapons."

He said that having an agreement that spans only ten years before restrictions against Iran are lifted is a dangerous proposition for Israel and the world.

"The future of global security cannot rely on the hypothesis that Iran will become Holland," Steinitz jested.
