Syrian President Bashar Assad is not planning to go anywhere anytime soon, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem clarified on Wednesday.AFP quoted Muallem as saying that Assad will run for a third term in 2014 if the people want him to."Do you want the president to resign before the [Geneva] conference? That is not possible," Muallem was quoted as having told Beirut-based news channel Al-Mayadeen."Will President Assad run for a third term or won't he, that will depend on conditions in 2014 and the will of the people," Muallem added.
