'Tear gas' used in alleged Syrian chemical attack

A kind of "super strength tear gas" and not a nerve agent was used in an alleged chemical weapons attack last week in Syria, The Sunday Times reported on Sunday.
The newspaper reported that the results were preliminary and scientists from a British military research center in Britain were analyzing soil samples taken from the scene by the British secret service MI6.
Syria's government and rebels accused each other of launching the deadly chemical attack on Tuesday. If confirmed it would be the first use of such weapons in the two-year-old conflict.
