Technion’s first international class graduates

The first class of the Technion’s international school graduated on Sunday and received degrees in civil and environmental engineering during a ceremony held in the presence of Technion President Prof. Peretz Lavie, former Science Minister Prof. Daniel Hershkowitz, as well as families and friends who came from all over the world for the occasion.
The graduating class included 12 students from India, Spain, the United States, Peru, Italy, Venezuela, China, Albania, France, Israel and South Africa.Seven of the new degree-holders will continue to postgraduate studies, including four at the Technion and three in leading institutions in the U.S. and the UK.
The International School of Engineering at the Technion opened in 2009 and offers a curriculum entirely taught in English.
