Tiberias mayor indicted for alleged computer hacking

Tiberias Mayor Zohar Oved was indicted for allegedly hacking into the municipality's computers and illegally copying classified information regarding the city comptroller's criticism of his conduct.
The State Prosecutor charged Oved with conspiracy to commit a crime, unauthorized access to computer material and invasion of privacy.
Avner Sharon, the manager of the computer company which allegedly carried out the illegal activity for Oved, was also indicted by the State Prosecutor.
