Truck bomb kills, wounds at least 60 in province south of Baghdad

BAGHDAD - A tanker truck blew up on Sunday at a police check point in the Hilla province, south of Baghdad, killing or wounding at least 60 people, according to an Iraqi security official.
More than 60 people were taken from the bombing scene to nearby hospitals, said Falah al-Radhi, head of the provincial security committee, without saying how many were killed.
"It's the largest bombing in the Hilla province to date," he told Reuters.
