Turkish economy minister resigns over graft probe, denies wrongdoing

Turkey's Economy Minister ZaferCaglayan resigned over a high-level corruption probe onWednesday, while describing it as a "dirty set-up" against thegovernment.
Caglayan's son Salih Kaan Caglayan was among 24 peoplearrested on graft charges last week in a case centering onstate-run lender Halkbank. Prime Minister TayyipErdogan responded by purging police investigators involved.
