Three Border Police officers were lightly wounded in a car ramming attack at the Okafim Junction near Beit Ummar in the West Bank on Sunday.
The suspected terrorist was killed by security forces on the scene.
The Palestinian Authority Health Ministry has named the assailant as 23 year-old Khalid Ahmad Alyan from Beit Ummar.
The wounded officers were transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for further treatment.
Earlier on Sunday, a five-year-old child suffered a head wound when assailants threw rocks at vehicles on the Tekoa Road in the West Bank near the T Junction.
The child was transported to Haddasah University Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Kerem in good condition.
