Umm el-Fahm man, 19, indicted for teen's manslaughter

The Haifa District Attorney filed an indictment in the Haifa District Court on Sunday morning, charging a 19-year-old man from Umm al-Fahm with the manslaughter of a teenage relative.
The defendant, Fathi Agbaria, was also charged with the illegal possession of a knife.
According to the indictment, Agbaria stabbed his 16-year-old cousin, Muthqal Agbaria, last month during a family argument.
Allegedly, Agbaria was driving in Umm el-Fahm when he came across Muthqal and two other family members walking on the same road. When Agbaria swerved his car towards the group, the indictment says, Muthqal's brother kicked out at the vehicle.
A short time later, Abgaria and his father drove to Muthqal and the others, and a fight broke out, the indictment says, during which Agbaria took out a knife and stabbed Muthqal several times in the chest.  Agbaria and his father fled the scene, according to the indictment, and Muthqal died from his injuries, including a 7 cm. deep and 3 cm. wide stab wound which damaged his heart.
