US grand jury indicts alleged Holocaust Memorial Museum shooter

A US grand jury indicted alleged Holocaust Memorial Museum shooter James Von Brunn for first degree murder and a series of hate crimes, Washington authorities announced Wednesday. The indictment charges Von Brunn with the murder of security guard Stephen Johns, who was killed while on duty at the museum on June 10, as well as hate crimes committed "in order to intimidate a class of persons, namely, individuals who are, and who are associated with individuals who are Jewish."
