US intel report: Palestinian state likely by 2030

It is likely that unofficial actions will lead to a Palestinian state by 2030, US intelligence analysts cited by AFP said Monday.
A new intelligence report predicted that "a breakthrough agreement to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict could have enormously positive consequences," but that a more likely scenario was that unofficial actions would lead toward a Palestinian state with key issues such as the status of Jerusalem remaining unresolved.
The report, "Global Trends 2030: Alternative Worlds," was issued by the National Intelligence Council, an analytical arm of the US government's Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
